​Help With Roster Overhaul

Hello everyone, I need some help/advice.

I've been considering developing an Legends team in Madden 22 (or the next Madden) playing on PC. Particularly, I'd like select players from the entirety of NFL time and sort them into complete rosters of players from the past to be utilized as a Franchise mode the fantasy mode, or in regular.

For instance, giants might include Brandon Jacobs, Tiki Barber, Joe Morris, and Saquan Barkley (idk just using this as an illustration. Players are the age at the time of their greatest season, which means that someone like Joe Montana would be about 28 if I choose the 1984 season. Players are placed with their best well-known team, with Randy Moss probably going to Vikings (I believe the idea that some of this is subjective to my personal opinions and knowledge however, it's difficult to make it objective , but I'm trying). It would be nice to have some free agents as well perhaps Kurt Warner, whos obviously incredible, but was a great player for a variety of teams.

The overall score is based on the players in the vicinity. Thus, somebody similar to Drew Brees would be only around 83 due to the fact that the players he's being compared to (Marino, Montana, etc) are just so incredible.

I've run into a couple problems:

1: For convienence sake, I would ideally like to use excel or another 3rd party app to simply input values for stats, using the in game creator will take foreeeeevveverrrrrrrr (53plrs*32 teams with all the loading time and time it takes to move those sliders).

2. How do I get rid of all the actual players. I would like to have legends on the roster. It just doesn't feel appropriate to include Joe Burrow playing with Dan Marino.

3. Any feedback on things I've not considered is appreciated (salary cap, or some other thing idk)
