Franchise Immersion Wishlist Madden 23
We all have something we'd like to see to be added to the game from year to year, in order to increase the amount of enjoyment we get from Madden... therefore I've compiled some things I can only hope for in the next decade.
Note that some of these items are included in 2K and in the Show but this isn't an attempt to bash the show. This thread is for good energy only, and it's just a wishlist. We know that this isn't part of the mix yet.
1. Press conferences and interviews with players for every team within the Franchise Mode. Like how 2k does it in the first quarter.
2. The halftime show is redesigned featuring at least two highlights each game. one highlight per team.
3. A weekly wrap-up show as it progresses every week. Similar to the show you go from game to match to summarize the games in the league and provide statistics throughout the day. The ticker is there; however, a quick summary is greatand takes the time of those who do not want to sit and wait for it to be read. You can also include trade rumors and players' demand rumors to sign to a team. It helps to know the players' needs without having to scroll through menus.
4. 1st round walk-up, with commish at the draft. Heck because of the tag system, there are some who will skip the draft due to various reasons.
5. The ratings chart should be extended for the draft, and also extend the scouting visit, so that we can get a real number of players as well as smokescreens from teams that mimic the real NFL anticipation for the draft.
6. More camera angles because the cpu vs CPU community is growing and requires additional options to the existing broadcast camera. There is also a coach mode that allows you that allows you to call only plays.
7. We would like to see an update for this event? SB Celebration or a fake parade for each team as well as the city. Utilize the stadium footage to showcase something in the stadium featuring fans and players.
8. Re-record the team chants, please. I'm not sure about the majority of teams, but the duuval back-to-back in superspeed is a nightmare. I don't know who was the person responsible for this, but please fix it and make it sound real and not cartoonish. I want the yells and chants of the show in which I am ridiculed for my performance against the home team or boos at winning in my home stadium after every game.
This is from my head. It's not a complete overhaul since it only adds to the existing foundation elements. You are welcome to add or remove any ideas you have. This isn't a new year's list, since we know that the annual cycle can only accomplish the job for a certain amount of time.
